Good news for .IS domains

The total number of dot IS domains has now reached 27.000. New .IS-domain registrations have been very healthy lately and new registrations this September increased by 77% over September 2008, and October registrations increased 45% over the same month last year.

At the end of October 2009, the total number of .IS domains has increased by 34% last 12 moths, and by 68% over end of October 2007. The staff of ISNIC has done many important changes last three years to improve the service, which has now payed off.
