DDoS attack on isnic.is

At 23:30 en the eve of December 21st, our website, isnic.is, was hit by a Distributed Denial of Service attack.
Most of the services that are hosted by ISNIC were affected and were not usable during the attack, but at 00:05 we disabled domain searching on the website and by doing that, the effects of the attack where successfully mitigated.

Domain searching was re-enabled on December 21st.
We're currently working on solutions to minimize the impact of similar events in the future.
