Attack on ISNIC nameservers

A large scale DDoS attack was performed on the ISNIC nameservers and it affected the web, EPP, WHOIS and RDAP services.

The first warning was triggered at 2024-01-10 kl. 15:30 and on-call personnel started analyzing the problems shortly after.

The attack was not fully averted until 16:55 and all services were then up and running without problems.

We're still analyzing the attack and identifying weak points that can be strengthened to better endure attack like this in the future.
